I need help to run this program on a computer running windows vista has I have some programs on the hard drive waiting to copy to my pc but I can not get this program to work. Is there a program that does the same but works with vista.

I think you're out of luck. There are only three programs for getting files from the Humax to a PC, nameley Humax's own eLinker, Media Controller (and HUmaxGUI, which is just Media Controller with a GUI rather than command line use) and 9200TReadFiles. The first two are very slow (and don't always work) but may be ok for just a few items, 9200TReadFiles is really the only one worth using.

Unfortunately loads of programs fail under Vista, and if they were designed by an individual that person may not have access to Vista (even companies may not have Vista yet).

If you report your problems in detail it might help the author of 9200TREadFiles to solve them - or to suggest a work-around. Just saying "doesn't work" does not help anybody. Have you checked through all the numbers from 0 to 9 as the drive number? It isn't always obvious what to put in that field, and since you give no details it could be that you are getting this wrong or making some other mistake.

Hi wizkid44 I have 9200TReadFiles working with Vista, did you have it working with your previous OS?
