I have a VCR connected to the appropriate scart socket on the Hummy. Can someone tell me whether I can copy recorded progs from the Hummy hard drive to the VCR? If so, what are the steps required in setting up the VCR etc to do this?
Sorry if this is a basic/stupid question

1) Switch the VCR source to the AV input the Hummy is connected to. A good way of telling you have got it right is if you pull up the menu or EPG on the Hummy and can see that through the VCR on your TV. ie the TV is has the VCR selected as *its* input source.
2) Start the VCR recording.
3) Start the Hummy playing the programme you want to copy.
nb Do *not* fiddle with the Hummy remote while the copy is in progress as any of the displays from the Hummy that result will appear on the copy. Hide the remote on top of a tall cupboard.
Stop the Hummy playing and the VCR recording when its all over. Job done.
ps Another tip is to display the programme information on the Hummy for a few seconds at the beginning of the copy as this will you identify what is on the tape in the future.
