Hi Guys/Girls
New to the Hummy & this board.
Been reading the setanta posts with great interest. Just been given the CAM and card and followed all the instructions.Nothing !!!
When I go in to CI it says "slot empty" ?
Does this mean my hummy is not reading the card or is it the card/CAM that's kapoot ?
Should the hummy be able to read the card before I can register online ???

Yes it should, i haven't got one myself but i installed 0ne this week in my sons new hummy and yes it could see the card and cam before registering.

In Menu>System>Common interface the slot should show tupup tv i think from memory. You should be able to see info from there on the card and the cam, if the card is showing a date of 1992 i believe it hasn't yet been activated.

Make sure the Cam is pushed right in.

I gave the card an extra push and it seems to recognise it now.
As for the date.The only one I see is on the card info, 20/02/2008 ?
Guess I'll just have to wait until 12.00hrs to see if it comes on

Well 12.hrs arrived and I have Setanta sports
