Another lock up story

Gingerland reported this lock up, just had my box (comet) works fine except for locking up , started recording hd preview, then another channel, after a few mins of playing about all was fine, then when i tried to turn off machine, it was locked, only mains reset worked. will keep trying differnt methods, keep a watch out for this..
