Ok guys, here's a chance to get your creative juices going, why should I buy the Humax Foxsat HDR instead of the Toppy, DreamBox or any of the other PVR ready HD satellite receivers?

I don’t think that selling the thing is the problem……finding one to buy is the difficult bit!

ITV HD?????

I got the 6800 and it does ITV HD. I can also archive HD content (over 100 HD Movies at present) to an external HDD and play it on the 6800 or on my Tosh laptop, and view via HDMI . It seems that I cannot archive HD stuff on my Foxsat HDR. Bit of a negative that. Also cannot record whats in the buffer, but then I can't do that on the 6800 either, something my 9200 freview box does.

Having said that, I've only had it 48 hours, and I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Although, I scheduled a HD recording of EUEFA game tonight, but no sign of it in my "media". BBC Hd stuff, along with Emmerdale, was recorded ok. Picture quality sems as good as that on my Thompson Sky HD box.

The SD stuff upscaled is a lot better.
