A friend bought a 9150t on 15 January 2009 and it has worked perfectly until today.

From today all the controls, both remote and front of box refuse to work after the box has been powered on for approx 3 minutes.

If the box is rebooted it works again for 3 minutes then refuses to cooperate.

I have done a default setting and changed the batteries in the remote, all to no avail.

If my friend wishes to change channels or anything else she has to reboot the box (rear powere on/off switch) then she has only 3 minutes to change channels or anything.

As it takes longer than 3 minutes for the EPG to populate using the EPG is out of the question.

I rang the Humax 0870 support number but was given the message that due to adverse weather they are not operating today.

Has anybody any ideas before I take the box back to Currys.

I'm having the same problem as DDVXs friend, my 9150t remote is not responsive a few minutes after switching on the box,but the front control panel doesn't seem to be working at all! I've tried new batteries and the default setting and 5 minutes later it's not working again. Only got the 9150t in december after my 9200t finally gave up, looks like it's back to argos with it!

I followed the instructions at the link shown below and the Humax 9150T is now working again. Has anybody any ideas what caused this problem.
