My box is a 9300T using latest firmware and loader. It is set to record Richard Hammond last night on BBC2. We happened to be watching it as we were home, then without warning the box rebooted itself without warning 4 minutes into the program.
When it came back it did not resume the recording, although interestingly it showed in the library as a 1 hour damaged recording when it was actually a 4 minute recording.
Has anyone else had the same thing? Judging by another damaged recording it did the same thing around 9pm last monday too.

Our 9200 has never done that, and I don't recall many/any other reports like yours. Sounds like it might have been a momentary power glitch or spike, though to be enough to kick the box offfield like that I'd have thought you'd have noticed lights or other stuff 'blip' as well. Do you live in the sticks or have many overhead lines in your area? If so it might be worth investing in a surge supressor.
The faulty recording sounds right. Whenever I get that symbol (it seems to happen spontaneously sometimes, even though there is no obvious problem) I check to see if we have the beginning and end of the prog before watching it.

The PVR9200T used to freeze when it crashed, caused by "rogue broadcast data" - typically when the tuned channel has an interactive application associated with it.
Slightly more helpfully, the PVR9150 and PVR9300 reboot under this scenario.
My 9200 recorded Hammond without issue last night.

My brand new 9300T has just done the same thing. New software loaded last night, and just now I was watching a recording and setting the schedule when the machine rebooted completeley.
A little more detail here, since it has just happened again. I went to the EPG, went to the radio channels, and chose a programme. I looked at the info for the programme, and pressed the info button to go back to the EPG. The EPG now has no channels on it. This lasts for about 5 secs, then comes back. Then, I try to jump forward to the next day, and the whole thing reboots.
Have tried this a couple of times, and it only happens after I follow all these steps.
I loaded the new update through the PC the previous night.
Any ideas?
