while some people might think i am talking about the meaning of life... sorry you need to watch the film...
which is something i cant do at present
moved to deeping st nic's in lincs (between market deeping and spalding)
changed from the old (non digital) arial with a back plate to a directional digital one.
using the power of internet, (wolfbane) and tomtom, with gps cords for the 3 different sources i could pick from i pointed at central which is the strongest of the 3 (belmont, sandy, central)
now my problem is this out of belmont and central both the bbc's are near each other. which means i lose them both or they are poor. some times on a good day i can scan on manual or auto and end up with 3 set of bbc channels even though i should only get central from the new arial...
any ideas? please as the wife is upset with the poor tv :-(
ps will post wolfband info shortly

Which receiver?
If you want to tune a Humax terrestrial PVR (9150, 9200, 9300) to one of Belmont, Sandy, Waltham, use the "network" setting in the manual tune menu. Then when you choose any one of the six mux frequencies listed for your desired transmitter, the tuning for the other five will be carried out automatically.
(As in all instances of tuning where multiple transmitters are involved, doing a "defaults setting" to clear all channels from memory is pertinant. Just remember this also clears set timers and user preferences.)
I see the problem though with both Sandy and Waltham using C42, you do need to ensure your aerial is sufficiently directional not to receive from Sandy.

I'd recommend using the digitaluk postcode prediction for you precise location rather than just relying on wolfbane. http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/postcodechecker/ (Do tick the 'in the trade' box, though).
This will give you the best idea of what is the preferred transmitter now and as switchover progresses based on the BBC spectrum planners best modelling and knowledge of transmission and interference issues.
Info on the brand and model of aerial might help - there's no such thing as a 'digital aerial', by the way (despite what advertisers, some makers and dealers would tell you).

It`s flat out there isn`t it ? ! ?
Are you sure you don`t need an attenuator !
You should get decent signals one way or the other, there are loads of transmitters (http://www.aerialsandtv.com/belmonttx.html#BelmontsChannels) you could go at, you could even try Tacolneston which is ESE from you.
I would advise working out your own signal strength and which transmitter to use, those prediction programmes can be woefully inaccurate.

I don`t quite understand this, are you saying you`re getting co channel interference ?

How much did they charge you ? And do you know what sort of aerial they fitted ? This article may give you some identification hints :
