Started this thread to highlight EPG problems - Crid data etc:

Eastenders 19 July 2009:

Heads up for those that record this programme using Series Record

Tomorrows Omnibus moved to BBC2, and the Beeb have changed the Series Crid:rolleyes: so you will have to re-schedule.

(been monitoring this throughout the week, and hoped they might have changed it - appears my message was ignored)

Missing Series Crid data so timer will not update.

Have sent a message to BBC.

Barry, how do you discover the CRIDs, and other useful data using a 9200?

Cheers.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Barry never appears to respond to these requests. Just be thankful that he either has access to, or can find out the info from other contacts/sources.

Well, it would be very useful to check these things ourselves and I doubt it's a trade secret. Presumably there is some engineering menu one can access.

Let's be honest, it's only going to be a handful of enthusiasts from this site that would bother.

Suispect the answer is a DVB-T card and software on a PC.

Top Gear:

Series 13 ended last Week.

This Week BBC are repeating episode 4 from Series 12......and guess what, they have used the same Series Crid......so PVRs (if you still have the timer scheduled) will now pick this up for recording.......same situ for next Week when they repeat episode 5.

Received an email acknowledging the problem yesterday, stating the EPG Team would fix it.

Noticed yesterday afternoon C4 fixed first, then slowly the other channels.

All seem to be fully populated now, until the next time :D

At least they do respond..

Same here. And strangely In Our Time on BBC Radio 4 today also lost series link info and I had to reset it for next week.

It would appear that other ITV channels are also affected as well.

Heads up for those of you that record Eastenders Omnibus.

Sunday 7 Feb it is in 2 parts due to Rugby.

The first on BBC1 1300 - 1430, with a second part on BBC2 1430 - 1500.

The Beeb have not given the second part a series crid, and therefore it will not record automatically.

Has anyone else noticed that Channel 5 have tagged most of their content as "Films"?

When I go into the EPG on my 9200 and search by genre for Films, I see Neighbours, The Mentalist and most other Ch5 shows listed.

I'm on Mendip.
