Hi everyone,
First time posting here so Hello! Only got my Hummy yesterday and i must say i'm very impressed with it well done Humax for a great product.
Software updated to .06 yesterday without a hitch but i'm using my old freeview box to watch when not recording, only problem is when the Hummy comes out of standby i lose the RF feed through for 30 seconds which obviously interepts the signal to the STB and TV. Now i understand if i upgrade the loader this problem should disappear but i want to check the settings on my PC comm port. I have set the baud rate to 115200 through device manager but do the other settings remain the same such as stop bits, flow control, etc?
I got 8 data bits, No parity, 1 Stop bit and no flow control.
Sorry about the noob question i just don't want to brick my Hummy!!
I take it the same procedure applies to updating the loader as it does to update the software?
